FAQ Prologue

Okay, so I had some fun with this FAQ I am not being facetious :

Um, aren't these FAQ's supposed to be at the end ?

Maybe, IDK. I just wanted to get a few things out of the way and untangle some confusing things.

Wait, is OHG going to be an epistolary (written in documents ) novel ?

No, just this section is written like this. I wanted to try this as a writing challenge and I had to get the expermintation out of my system. Also nonverbal was a big component of their relationship.

Did you have to use the word epistolary ?

No, but how often can you use it.

Where does this take place in relation to Teenage Dream ?

This whole section takes place before Teenage Dream. The timelines are about to get a bit complicated but, that is the way it was conceived.

Wait, a second.  You said UL2 ended in 2007 but, the letters say 2003 ?

I changed the year because I felt like culturally and politically 2003 provides a better backdrop for a story. Is it weird.  I want to call 2003 a simpler time. 2003 was right before iPod's became mainstream and VHS were just getting phased out. So, this is a  Ret Con and one day I will go back to align UL and UL2 with the time change. No iPhone for Cortland and his friends.

So wait, UL happened in 1999 now ?

Let's not think about that to much but, yes.

What did Juliana get sentenced for ?

Prostitution, accessory to selling drugs and messing with evidence (she broke into the cops car).

Would she really get a 4 year sentence ?

Yes, Miami has very strict drug laws because of the amount of drug trafficking going on and Nancy Regan's zero tolerance policy.

OMG 1111!!!111 Rhett's middle name is Joseph

It has nothing to do with JB it was just the only name that really fit.

What is Juliana's middle name ?

I couldn't figure it out which is why I left it out.

This is only a prologue and ambiguity here will be answered in the next couple of chapters. In TD and OHG the ambiguity is intentional and the other parts are not like that.

Oh, hey what does that Drink the tap water thing mean ?
